1. Company information
MyTaleo LLC is located at 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA.
2. Definitions
These Terms govern use of the Website (mytaleo.com), our Services (personalized book creation), and our Products (personalized books). "You" and "Customer" refer to the user; "We" and "MyTaleo" refer to MyTaleo LLC.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, legally capable of entering contracts, using the Services lawfully, and providing accurate information.
4. Account registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account. MyTaleo reserves the right to terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
5. Products and services
MyTaleo creates personalized children's books using names and photos you provide. Minor color variations may occur due to the printing process. You are responsible for the accuracy of all personalization details. Product descriptions are provided without warranty.
6. Orders and payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer; we accept it upon shipment. Prices exclude shipping and applicable taxes. Payment is processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). You authorize the charge for the full order total.
7. Shipping and delivery
Books ship within 5–6 business days after production to 30+ countries. Risk of loss transfers to you when the book is handed to the carrier. Tracking is emailed the moment the order ships.
8. Refunds and returns
You have 30 days to request a satisfaction resolution. Damaged items receive a replacement or refund within 14 days of delivery. Order errors caused by MyTaleo are corrected free of charge. Personalization errors caused by the customer are not eligible for return. Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase, provided production hasn't started.
9. Intellectual property
All MyTaleo content is protected. You grant us a limited license to use your uploads solely to fulfill your order. You warrant that you own or have the rights to any photo you upload and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.
10. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Services for unlawful purposes, upload harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with our systems, or exploit the Services commercially without written permission.
11. Photo guidelines
Uploaded photos must be clear, well-lit, of a person whose guardian has given consent, appropriate, and of print-quality resolution. We reserve the right to reject photos that don't meet these standards.
12. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the purchase price of the product in question.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" without express or implied warranties regarding functionality or defects.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify MyTaleo against claims arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration in Sheridan County, Wyoming. Class-action participation is waived.
16. Modifications to terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining Terms remain in full effect.
18. Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the complete agreement between you and MyTaleo.
19. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
20. Assignment
You may not assign rights under these Terms without our consent. MyTaleo may freely assign its rights.
21. Force majeure
MyTaleo is not liable for failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

23. Consumer rights
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms. EU customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, except for customized products, which are exempt.
